The juicing orange. Valencia is later-ripening than navel varieties, producing high-yield crops in late spring and summer with intensely sweet, juicy fruit that holds on the tree for months. If you juice regularly, this is the tree for your garden - prolific, reliable, and perfectly suited to Perth's long warm season. Full sun, well-drained soil. Deep watering through summer is critical for fruit quality. Feed with citrus fertiliser twice yearly. Valencia is one of the more heat-tolerant orange varieties and performs well in Perth's inland and northern suburbs.
